Free employment law advice
Solidaire Solicitors is widely recognized as a leading employment law firm in the UK, dedicated to representing employees and senior executives both in the City and across the nation. Unlike most firms, we focus exclusively on employment law, making us one of the few specialists in this field. Having assisted tens of thousands of clients, we pride ourselves on achieving exceptional success rates, often resolving cases without the need for tribunal proceedings. For expert advice, feel free to reach out via our contact form or call us at 0333 339 4786.
Free employment law advice
We understand that facing a challenging situation with your employer can be distressing and often requires immediate guidance. While it’s impossible to change the past, the focus should be on understanding your rights and exploring your options moving forward. Our aim is to help resolve or de-escalate the situation as quickly and effectively as possible.
These issues could involve bullying, harassment, redundancy, disciplinary action, performance concerns, sickness, discrimination, gross misconduct, constructive or unfair dismissal, resignation, sexual harassment, whistleblowing, settlement agreements, contractual disputes, or other employment-related matters.
We are pleased to provide free initial employment law advice, no matter where you are in the UK. During the initial consultation, which is typically conducted via phone or email, we will assess your situation and provide guidance. Here’s how you can get in touch with us:
- Call us directly at 0333 339 4786.
- Send us an email.
- Fill out the contact form below to submit your enquiry.
- Complete and return the detailed EMPLOYMENT QUESTIONNAIRE, where you can also upload relevant documents. This option is ideal if you’d like us to review your case more thoroughly.
You will receive an immediate confirmation once your enquiry is submitted.
If you are submitting a written enquiry and wish to take advantage of the free initial advice, we kindly ask that you keep your explanation clear and concise.
Please note, for more detailed or complex enquiries, or where substantial background information is provided, we may not always be able to offer free advice. In such cases, we will inform you beforehand and may propose a fixed fee for an in-depth assessment and guidance. This fee typically ranges between £175 and £325 plus VAT, depending on the complexity and scope of the matter. Simpler cases may incur a lower fee, while those with extensive details may require a higher charge.
Our one day policy
During periods of exceptionally high demand or public holidays, such as Christmas and New Year, we may not always be able to provide free initial advice. While we typically confirm within the same day—and often within a few hours—whether we can progress your enquiry, if you haven’t received a response from us within one working day of submission, please consider this as a confirmation that we cannot proceed. Your details will then be removed from our system. This policy ensures transparency and prevents unnecessary waiting.
We handle enquiries and represent employees and senior executives across the UK, including major cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, and Liverpool. There is no need for an in-person meeting if you are reachable via phone and email. However, we are always happy to welcome you to our office if you prefer to meet in person.
- Please note that you generally need to have been employed with your current employer for at least 23 months and 3 weeks (and not already served notice with an expiration before completing 2 years of employment) to be eligible to make a claim for unfair dismissal. There are only a few exceptions, such as dismissals for automatically unfair reasons or cases involving discrimination. For further information, please click here to access the unfair dismissal page.
- Please also be aware that you have 3 months minus 1 day from the date of termination of your employment (or from the last act of any discrimination) to initiate the tribunal process by lodging your claim with ACAS. This is a required procedural step, and the tribunal may only extend this timeframe in exceptional circumstances; otherwise, you will be barred from pursuing the claim. It is strongly recommended that you seek early professional advice to ensure you meet these deadlines.
